Principal's Message

Welcome to 2023-24 at Le Pera Elementary School! My name is Brian Wedemeyer, and I am truly honored to serve as your principal. I can’t believe I am preparing to start my 10th year at Le Pera.

Here is a little bit about myself. I am married with three children. My youngest son is a senior at Parker High School, where I graduated back in 1986. I served as an Air Force photojournalist in Operation Desert Storm. I worked as a reporter and editor at several newspapers for nearly 20 years before switching careers to education. I taught English and coached varsity baseball and girls basketball for two years at Parker High before coming to Le Pera.

Away from school, I serve as the junior vice commander for VFW Post 7061 in Parker. I have been working on a non-fiction book for almost 3 years. However, I am most proud of being a member of the Rebel Family, including staff, students, parents and community members.

Please know that our staff is committed to providing your child with the best education possible. As a family, we believe we can overcome any challenge.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at school at 662-4306.

REBELS RISE!

Sincerely,

Principal Brian Wedemeyer
