“Our mission is to educate all Le Pera students in a nurturing, rigorous, and disciplined environment, so that through their development and performance they become assets to themselves, their community, and society.”

"The mission of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, or PBIS, at Le Pera Elementary is to empower our students to learn and achieve a respectful, responsible, and safe learning environment. In an atmosphere of positive behavior, students can thrive with thoughtful engagements, enhance their academics, and grow socially as well as emotionally."

Quick Facts

Le Pera is a K-8 school located in Poston, Arizona, approximately 20 miles south of Parker, Arizona, on the Colorado River Indian Reservation. Our mascot is the Rebels. Our school colors are red & gray. 214 students attend school at Le Pera, and there are 1 administrator, 15 teachers, and 14 classified staff.

The Learning Garden has been in operation at Le Pera since 2008. Students and teachers work together with Don Alamban, leader/master gardener from U of A, to plant and harvest a variety of fruits and vegetables throughout the school year.
